August 3rd - the most special day with the most unbelievable people. Building a relationship with these two leading up to their day was so fun. We shared many phone calls and emails and after every conversation I was overflowing with love for them and excitement for their day. I couldn’t wait for their day because I knew it would be so set apart. If I already felt so much adoration for Lincoln and Mariana through a phone, I knew it would be a dream capturing all the words and emotions unfolding on their day. And that’s exactly what it was. It was sacred.

Right away Ryan and I felt like family. All of M + L’s people were so welcoming and so kind. You could sense the deep well of friendship and connection between them all. It was an honor to be invited into all the intimate spaces of this day.

Just a couple miles off the Pacific Coast Hwy is the most beautiful property nestled quietly in a forest of Redwoods. After five and a half years of adventuring together, this was the perfect backdrop and most enchanting place for Mariana and Lincoln to join their lives together. They are so warm, intentional, fighters for the ones they love and full of so much life. Their community is so special and traveled from all over the world (literally) to celebrate their love. Mariana’s family is from Colombia and their friends traveled from every corner of the states and Europe to show their support. And because of that, you could feel the gratitude spilling over from everyone to be present on this day.

SO. MUCH. BEAUTY.

Mariana rocked this dress from Pronovias. It was made for her.

The sweetest first look.

They are the best of friends.

One of Mariana and Lincoln’s best friends performed the ceremony and LET ME TELL YOU…
it was beautiful. The whole ceremony embodied the same vibrant life and the the same peaceful whisper of the forest we stood in. I really could not believe I got to witness this moment. It was one of those experiences where everything became still, everyone was present, and you could sense the weight of the beauty before you.

One of my favorite parts of the day was running off with these two after their ceremony. I highly recommend doing this! It’s the best way to just SOAK IT ALL UP. It’s an intentional pause. No distractions. Jjust you two. We laughed and played and even got a little wet/muddy - oops! It was so fun.

The coast has played a significant role in Mariana and Lincoln’s relationship. Many memories and important conversations happened on the beach PLUS they got engaged on the Pacific Coast Highway! So, Mariana was super excited when she found a venue that held two very important things to them - the redwoods and the coast.

they were celebrated SO DANG WELL. You can feel all the love.

and they DANCED. THE. NIGHT. AWAY.

the party did not stop! Seriously.

After this they invited all their guests to the house on the property to keep on celebrating. I love these two so much.

Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. McMurry!
